RIPE RP Statistics Overview - WIP

- Hit Points
Hit Points determine how well your character can survive in combat, the higher it is, the more hits you can take in combat.

All PCs will at a maximum of 7.5 hitpoints (rounded up), this is due to the RIPE stats which will be discussed below.

PCs cannot elect to begin with lower than a maximum hp of 1. Nor can NPCs.

For each Power level you will gain 2.5 hitpoints.

For each Endurance level you will gain 5 hitpoints.

- Armor
Armor level begins at 0 and increases depending on what you are wearing.

Your Armor level will reduce the amount of damage your receive by the level indicated on all non critical hits (as these bypass armor). Armor level will not for the, for the most part, defend against magical attacks. Players CAN decided to wear different types of armor for different pieces of their body if the GM allows.

Padded - 1
Leather - 2
Studded leather - 3
Chainmail - 4
Splintmail - 5
Half-Plate - 6
Full-Plate - 7

^ these are based upon normal materials (i.e iron). Materials other than this may provide different benefits and possibly additional protection.

- Fatigue
Fatigue determines how tired your character is. Fatigue will gradually increase as the day goes on while you are doing normal activities. Fatigue will also increase when you commit 'fatigue actions' such as a power attack, or bashing. Fatigue actions usually only create a temporary increase in your fatigue level, of which can be reduced by resting.

Endurance determines the maximum amount of fatigue level you may accumulate before becoming 'fatigued'. While being fatigued, one may not attempt 'fatigue actions' and also may become incapacitated during normal activity or combat situations.

Maximum fatigue is determined by this formula: (8 + 2(endurance level))

- Carry Weight
Carry Weight is the amount of weight that you can hold on your person before becoming 'encumbered'. Being encumbered doubles your fatigue generation rate. Backpacks and such can serve to increase the total amount of Carry Weight you can have to a degree. Carry Weight is also the indicating factor of if you can or cannot lift and carry an item. You cannot lift an item that is over your maximum (unmodified) carry weight.

Carry Weight is determined by this formula: (60 + 25(Power))

what about scale mail? not meaning dragon, but scale like metal pieces that are layered to provide a cross between chain and plate.

also, all of this reminds me of most RPG video games. I like that.
